April 2022: Sales opportunities for fossil fuel vehicles from Germany are dwindling: Around 60 percent of German car exports now go to countries and regions in which no more gasoline and diesel vehicles are to be registered after 2035; by 2040 at the latest, this figure is likely to rise to 80 percent.
February 2021: Great Britain, France, California, Japan: Around 40 percent of German passenger car exports go to countries and regions where the sale of diesel and petrol vehicles is no longer to be possible by 2040.
