Climate protection is not only playing an increasingly important role for automotive companies due to rising regulatory requirements. Increasingly, climate protection is also becoming a core value that civil society is demanding from companies. Last but not least, climate protection is important for companies to secure financing. Investors and financial markets are increasing the pressure on companies to operate in a climate-neutral manner.
In this project, we are investigating the challenges climate protection poses for German automotive companies and how they are making progress in transforming their business models.
