International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT)

The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) is an independent, non-profit environmental think tank with offices in Washington DC, San Francisco, Beijing and Berlin, with a staff of about 50 transportation experts. Established in the United States in 2005 and in Europe in 2012, ICCT’s mission is to improve the environmental performance and energy efficiency of road, marine, and air transportation, in order to mitigate climate change and benefit public health. ICCT tailors its approach and outputs towards transportation regulators, policy makers and other key stakeholders who are responsible for influencing, developing and implementing transport policies.
