As a student assistant at Agora Verkehrswende since April 2022, Lennard Markus primarily works on the topic of urban mobility. He is interested in the sociological and technological factors that have conditioned the growth of our present-day transport system, and how these factors impact individual mobility behaviour.
Before joining Agora Verkehrswende, Lennard worked for the Berlin Agency for Electromobility (eMO), where he helped to promote the electrification of commercial transport.
As part of his Bachelor’s degree studies in sociotechnology at the Technical University of Berlin, he is studying issues related to integrated transport planning and the opportunities and risks associated with novel mobility services. He is also involved in the car-free Berlin referendum.
