From 2009 to 2016 Anne Klein-Hitpaß was a research fellow at the German Institute for Urban Studies, where she researched electric vehicles and mobility, including alternative mobility concepts. From 2006 to 2009 she worked at the Institute for Transportation Research at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), as well as at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB). She holds a Diplom degree in Geography from Humboldt University in Berlin.
