In a presentation given at our offices in Berlin, Dr. Nic Lutsey, director of the electric vehicle and fuels program of the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), discussed global developments in the area of electric vehicles, including the factors driving electric vehicle uptake. Beyond offering an international perspective on the relationship between charging infrastructure development and EV penetration rates, Dr. Lutsey emphasized that comprehensive measures are needed to make electric mobility a success.
Dr. Lutsey is a prominent expert on US climate and transportation policy. In addition to managing the secretariat of the International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance (ZEV Alliance), he co-leads ICCT activities in the US.
