Sarah Abdelkader is a multidisciplinary professional interested in sustainable development and improving the Egyptian mobility system. She focuses particularly on promoting active mobility and fostering awareness for climate-friendly modes of transportation.
Currently she works as a Spatial Data Engineer, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create customized mapping and location-based products at HERE Technologies. She is also active as a community engagement officer for Tabdeel, an Egyptian bicycle urbanism center, and as a project manager for Cairo Bike, Egypt’s first bike sharing system.
Sarah holds a joint Master's Degree in Geospatial Technologies from the University of Münster and Universitat Jaume I as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Alexandria University.
