Michelle Waltring joined Agora Verkehrswende in July 2020 as a Student Assistant. Her work focuses on urban mobility but includes topics related to public transport as well as electromobility. She is particularly interested in legal questions of climate and transport policy as well as the political landscape of the mobility transition.
As part of her studies in political science at the University of Potsdam, Michelle Waltring is analyzing Berlin's mobility law for the options of action available to the administration in her master's thesis. Before joining Agora Verkehrswende, she worked for Roland Berger in the public sector consulting and completed internships at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the German Bundestag and a political consultancy.
