Marena  Pützschler

Marena Pützschler joined Agora Verkehrswende in 2017 and has held her current position since March 2019. She concentrates on building international partnerships in areas related to climate friendly transport. In particular, she aims to create more intensive dialogue between important actors from the realms of business, academia, politics and civil society and develop with them strategies for the effective decarbonisation of the transport sector.  

Marena, who has a Master’s degree in business engineering, gathered important international experience during her studies. In 2015, she helped the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Beijing forge a German–Chinese partnership for electric vehicles. Afterward she worked in project management for the charging infrastructure provider Ubitricity. While studying abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, she specialised in new mobility and self-driving vehicles.
